TrashShield (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a mobile application designed for device cleaning, junk file removal, and storage optimization. This Privacy Policy applies to all users accessing our app in the United States and explains our data collection, usage, storage, and protection practices, in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other applicable U.S. privacy laws.
Data Protection Commitment: TrashShield does NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data for commercial purposes. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our cleaning functions, and all processing is designed to protect your privacy.

We limit data collection to essential, non-sensitive information required to operate and improve our service:
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, storage usage, and RAM status—used solely to identify junk files and optimize cleaning performance.
- Anonymous Usage Data: Aggregated, non-personal logs of feature interactions (e.g., cleaning tool usage) and crash reports (without personal identifiers)—to fix bugs and enhance user experience.
- Optional Photo/Storage Permission: If you choose to save TrashShield-generated wallpapers, we request photo/storage access only to enable saving these images. We do not access or collect your existing photos, videos, or personal files.
We do not collect contacts, messages, location, payment info, browsing history, or any other sensitive personal data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core cleaning and storage optimization features.
- Improve app performance, fix errors, and enhance functionality.
- Enable optional wallpaper saving (if you grant permission).
